A Kilkenny resident was left shaken after discovering their car had been damaged overnight.
Gardaí are investigating the incident, which occurred at Reade Court between 7.30pm on Friday evening and 6am on Saturday morning.
The vehicle owner reported that the rear window of their car had been smashed during the night. While nothing appeared to have been stolen, the damage has left the car owner distressed.
Gardaí are appealing to the public for any information that may help in their investigation. Sgt. John Duffy of Kilkenny Garda Station has urged anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area during the relevant time frame, or who has any other relevant information, to come forward.
“Any details, no matter how small, could assist our inquiries,” said Sgt. Duffy. “We would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage or CCTV in the vicinity of Reade Court to come forward.”
Residents in the area are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to Gardaí.
