Ireland’s Easiest Quiz finally won as Kilkenny listener claims €2,000 jackpot

Ireland’s Easiest Quiz has finally been won after a 20-week build-up here in KCLR.

Noel Ryan of Dunbell in Kilkenny was fast with the answers this morning on and beat the buzzer when asked his own name as the final question to scoop €2,000.

It’s the biggest amount ever won on the quiz, sponsored by Mountain View.

Noel, who had tried but never got through to the play the quiz, was delighted with the win, “I’ve heard it several times and I was thinking, speed is the thing, and try and intercept if I can.” “I haven’t really thought about what I’ll do, probably look at a holiday or something.”
