It’s a case of ‘as you were’ for Carlow and Kilkenny after the Michelin Stars came out in Dublin last night. f
‘The Pullman’ restaurant, housed in two original carriages of the Orient Express at Galway’s Glenlo Abbey, and Dublin’s ‘Forest Avenue’ both received their first Stars, at the Convention Centre in Dublin.
There was also a special service award for St Francis Provisions, Kinsale in County Cork.
But despite much speculation there was no ‘three star’ recognition for Ireland.
Nor was there a second star as had been anticipated by many for The Lady Helen at Mount Juliet Estate.
