It’s a chance for plenty of opportunities to use the Irish language in Carlow

Its an opportunity to use little or as much Gaelige as you have says Glór Ceatharlach as Féile an Fhómhair takes hold.

The annual festival celebrates Harvest, Autumn and all things Irish culture locally and runs until the 5th of October.

AS tradition the Trá na gCeist for 200 post primary school children was held this morning and later this evening is a special event about Ernest Shackleton.
