The owner of Khan’s Books on James’s Street in Kilkenny has thanked the public for the outpouring of support she has received since announcing yesterday that the business is to close following 32 years of trade.
Khan Kiely told The KCLR Daily that she has had a fantastic career in the book trade and described her business as a real local bookshop.
She told Brian Redmond this morning that she’s bowled over by the goodwill she has received following yesterday’s announcement and said she’s proud and delighted that she has made such a positive impression on so many lives.
