A Kilkenny man named Volunteer of the Year and Charity Hero in the past week says it hasn’t sunk in yet.
Jim Kavanagh was honoured last week at the Volunteer Ireland awards and again last night at the Better Together awards in Dublin Castle.
Its all in recognition of 20 years of work with the Chernobyl Childrens International project.
And Jim said last night was another incredible occasion for him and his family.
