Carlow is being given a jobs boost this summer.
Work is to begin on the new Walsh Whiskey Distillery in Royal Oak which was announced late last year.
The distillery when finished will create 25 news jobs with an additional 40 jobs to be created during its construction.
It will be located on Holloden House Demesne in Royal Oak.
