John Bambrick didn’t see calls for Jer Bergin to step down coming

The Chairman of Kilkenny IFA says they didn’t see calls for the National Chairperson to step down coming.
John Bambrick was speaking after the two IFA county executives of Kilkenny and Limerick passed motions of no confidence in the current executive board.
A meeting was held in Kilkenny’s Newpark hotel last night with around 70 members voting for the resignation of the executive board.
The motions come on foot of Con Lucey’s report into pay at the Organisation.
