John McGuinness says the area of medical card wasn’t given enough attention in the budget

John McGuinness says the government has done nowhere near enough for ordinary people in Budget 2017.

The Carlow/Kilkenny TD has criticised many of the measures announced by Finance Minister Michael Noonan yesterday.

He says he doesn’t agree with the way the state is being run through these budgets – describing it as a dated system.

Speaking to KCLR Live today, Deputy McGuinness says he was particularly disappointed that the area of medical cards wasn’t given more attention.
