John McGuinness says we need to ensure customers aren’t penalised further in tracker mortgage scandal

Top executives from AIB and Ulster Bank will face the Finance Minister today to discuss their response to the tracker mortgage scandal.
Pascal Donohoe was briefed by the CEO’s of Bank of Ireland, KBC and Permanent TSB yesterday.
The Governor of the Central Bank Phillip Lane says he hopes the majority of those affected will be repaid by Christmas.
Local Dáil Deputy and chair of the Oireachtas Finance Committee John McGuinness says we need to be sure now that customers are not penalised for these in the form of hikes on their charges.
