“Just because you change your Focus, we don’t lose ours” warn Kilkenny Gardaí

Kilkenny Gardaí have issued a warning to motorists who’ve previously fallen foul of the law.

The local roads policing unit over the weekend came upon a driver who they recognised as being one they had previously arrested for drug driving in his then Ford Focus.

This time around, the motorist appeared to have registered the vehicle he was travelling in under a different name and when stopped gave a false name which wasn’t successful as the previous arresting member was reintroduced.

He was arrested, the car seized and a court date’s due.

In a social media posting the local crew noted; “Just because you change your Focus, we don’t lose ours”.
