Kilkenny IFA Chairman Jim Mulhall discusses the meeting due to take place between farmers and Lidl today to resolve a dispute about unsustainable pricing.
The meeting follows last week’s protests outside Lidl stores in Cavan and Monaghan over the sale of cheap chickens, a move Jim Mulhall warns could put family farms out of business.
