The Kilkenny City Harriers Streets of Kilkenny 5K starts tonight at 7.30 pm.
The fast-paced run around the medieval city centre is expected to draw large crowds Thursday evening.
Traffic disruptions are to be expected between 7 pm and 8.30pm.
