KCLR Live: The Carlow woman behind ‘Miles for Mulberry’

In this morning’s show, Eimear chatted to Carlow woman Roisin Whitty, whose mother is in a nursing home in England and suffering from dementia.

Roisin’s doing a ‘Miles for Mulberry’ marathon on June 20 to raise funds for her mother’s care home, which Roisin used to visit every month before the pandemic made travelling to the UK impossible.

Until they’re reunited, Roisin’s ensuring that she can still help her mother from overseas by raising money for a pet farm in the Mulberry Court Care Home where she’s staying.
