Kilkenny’s match against Limerick in Roinn 1A of the Allianz national hurling league this afternoon has been postponed.
The decision was made after the pitch at UPMC Nowlan park was deemed to be unplayable following adverse weather conditions.
Kilkenny are currently second in the table, having responded to a loss at home to Galway in round 2 with a resounding win over Wexford a week later.
Carlow’s game against Laois in Roinn 1B of the Allianz Hurling League has also been postponed, following dificult conditions at O’Moore Park this morning.
Carlow are currently sitting in third in the Division 1B table, with Offaly on top.
Refixtures in both cases are currently to be determined.
