Best Feature Film at last nights IFTA’s went to Wolfwalkers.
The animated feature directed by Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart is the latest offering from Cartoon Saloon in Kilkenny to be recognised at the Irish Film and Television Awards.
Song of the Sea became the first animation to win Best Picture back in 2015.

Normal People was the big winner last night with nine awards including Best Actor Drama for Paul Mescal.
Nicola Coughlan won the Rising Star award for her standout performance in Bridgerton.
Gabriel Byrne picked up an award for Best Actor Film in Death of a Ladies Man.
John Morton’s ‘Dead Still’ missed out in the Best Drama category to Normal People while Saoirse Ronan also lost out to Sharon Horgan who won Best Supporting Actress in Film
