The ball gets rolling this evening for the 41st Kilkenny Arts Festival.
Thousands of music, poetry, theatre and dance fans are coming to the city to sample a huge number of events which take place between now and Sunday week.
Today’s highlights include the male-voice choir called Basiani Ensemble in St Canice’s Cathedral and Liam Ó Maonlaí with fellow Hothouse Flower Peter O’Toole in the Set Theatre.
