It’s a big night for local companies tonight as the Kilkenny Business Awards are taking place.
An unprecedented 400 nominations were received this year and now 45 businesses have been shortlisted by the local Chamber of Commerce’s judging panel.

Some of this year’s categories include Agri Business of the Year, the Intern in Business Award and the Culture, Heritage and Tourism Award.
Speaking to KCLR News, Chamber President, John Hurley says it wasn’t easy to narrow down the nominees.
