Kilkenny camogie heroines to be welcomed home this evening

Kilkenny will be awash with black and amber this evening as the camogie heroins are welcomed home.

The Senior and Intermediate teams will be on stage at the Kilkenny Courthouse from 7pm on this evening following their double win in Croke Park yesterday.

There’ll be music and entertainment first with the teams arriving on open top bus which leaves MacDonagh Junction at 6.30 heading down Johns Street, Rose Inn Street and up High Street.

Parliament Street will close to traffic from the Junction at Dean Street/Irishtown to the junction at Bateman Quay/High Street from 5:45pm until 8pm.

Meanwhile, Carlow’s Premier Junior All-Ireland winners were welcomed home with a meet and greet in Reddy’s Bar on Tullow Street last night.
