26 Children and 5 adults from Chernobyl are on their way to Kilkenny today.
The children will spend four weeks holidays with families in Kilkenny city and county, Carlow, Wexford and Carrig -on -Suir.
Kilkenny has been welcoming children from Chernobyl every year for the past 18 years.
Jim Kavanagh is the outreach group Leader and will be travelling to Shannon this morning to greet the children.
