Kilkenny Castle is to feature on a new TV series which starts this Sunday.
‘Tales of Irish Castles’ will look at the role that they played across the centuries in a six-part series produced by TV3 and presented by Simon Delaney.
It includes information that might not be known including the fact that Kilkenny was once the seat of government in Ireland.
It airs at 6.15pm on TV3 on Sunday.
