Kilkenny city hotel gets green light to convert leisure centre into new guest bedrooms

A Kilkenny city hotel is hoping to welcome more visitors in future.

The Rivercourt has been given the go-ahead to refurbish its leisure centre and covert the space into 12 new guest bedrooms.

Its the latest development at the 4 star facility who extended their ballroom earlier this year and gave the bar area a makeover too.

Sales & Marketing manager Karen O Sullivan says the next phase of works will start in the new year.
