A Kilkenny city laneway’s closed today.
Market Slip connects High Street and Kieran Street and, as works on the latter continue close to the end of the steps with the focus on resurfacing, the pedestrian route’s off limits.

The County Council says there’s controlled access from the High Street end to businesses on the slipway.
