The chairman of the brand new Kilkenny United Womens football club Shane Murray says they’re excited about competing in the National League.
2 Kilkenny girls have signed for the side already – Jenny Clifford and Maria Connelly and its hoped more local names will be part of the final line-up before they start their competitive games in September.

Shane told KCLR they’re looking forward to making their mark in the years to come.
Their first game will be away to Cork on 6th September in the first round of the Shield.
