Kilkenny communities to benefit from new funding

250 thousand euro worth of grant funding has been allocated to communities across Kilkenny.

7 different groups out of the 19 that applied to the county council were successful including St Canices community Action in the city, Thomastown United and the Mill Family resource Centre in Urlingford.

Councillor Pat Fitzpatrick told KCLR news says each project is getting a considerable allocation to help with the great work they do in their respective communities.
