Kilkenny County Council refuses permission for Motorway Service Station

Plans to build a 24 hour service area on the M9 motorway between Carlow and Kilkenny have been turned down by the county council.

The proposals were to put in a petrol station, a two storey building with a shop and two food outlets including a take away and a drive through restaurant in Paulstown.

Kilkenny County Council refused permission for the project this week.
