Kilkenny beat Galway in their semi final tie at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick this afternoon.
Despite trailing by 5 points at half time, Kilkenny put in a superb second half performance aided by a strong wind as they claimed victory by 1-16 to 15 points, with John Power netting the crucial goal.
Meanwhile,Tipperary overcame All-Ireland Champions Clare in their semi tie to progress to the final in a high scoring game.
Patrick Bonner Maher scored both goals for Tipp as they won on a scoreline of 2-24 to 2-17.
