Kilkenny families welcome children from Belarus for Christmas


Families in Kilkenny are welcoming children from Belarus into their homes for Christmas.
The group touched down at Dublin Airport earlier as part of the Chernobyl Childrens project initiative which will see 30 children stay in Ireland for 2 weeks over the festive season.
Speaking to KCLR from Dublin Airport Adi Roche thanked the local families who support the project.
Recently crowned Volunteer of the Year and Charity Hero Jim Kavanagh was there to welcome the group at Dublin Airport.
