November 2015, Kilkenny – Images of Kilkenny were beamed in to the homes of hundreds of thousands of people in Norway yesterday evening, when an episode of a reality dating TV show – filmed here this autumn – aired on TV2, the largest commercial TV channel in Norway. Images of the Marble City featured recently on TV in Norway for a reality show about single farmers meeting a number of potential partners, with the farmer and his ‘favourite’ partner going on a dream date to a foreign location, in this instance, Kilkenny
The show visited the city back in September as guests of Tourism Ireland and viewers in Norway saw the couple visiting Kilkenny Castle and Mount Juliet as part of their date.
