Kilkenny Fianna Fáil TD says he is not a rebel

John McGuinness says he is in no way a rebel within the Fianna Fáil party, he’s just not afraid to put forward his views.

He says more should have been demanded by his party in return for the renewal of the confidence and supply agreeement with Fine Gael.

Last week he told KCLR that he feels the agreement should be pulled over the National Children’s Hospital controversy – something his party doesn’t agree with.

Speaking on KCLR’s The Way It Is, Deputy McGuinness says it’s important politicians speak their mind.
