A new Command Support Unit has been added to Kilkenny’s Fire & Rescue Service.
Based in Castlecomer the Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) fuel-ready vehicle, is set to enhance the operational capabilities of the crew across the county.
It’s equipped with advanced technology, including solar panels on the roof and onboard battery systems, which supply power to IT and communications systems.
