Kilkenny Gardai warn drivers not to use their smartphone while driving

Gardai in Kilkenny are reminding motorists not to use your smart phone while driving.

It comes as a motorist was issued with a 120 euro fine on High Street yesterday after a member of the force spotted a driver with his head down and tapping away on his phone.

The Garda who cycled along side the car couldn’t even grab the attention of the preoccupied driver who will also receive 3 penalty points.
