Kilkenny gearing up for fundraising Trad on the Rock and Theatre Takeover

Kilkenny is gearing up for two major fundraising events that will benefit local groupings who in turn help many individuals. 

A 24-hour theatre takeover runs at the Watergate Theatre in the city this weekend with proceeds going to Teac Tom and Cois Nore, Kilkenny Cancer Support Centre.

The KCLR Daily’s been hearing from some of those involved;

Cois Nore will also be awarded the proceeds of Trad on the Rock which has been inspired by the late Róisín Gilroy of St Canice’s Kilkenny Credit Union.

It takes place at outdoor arena Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre on the 9th of August.
