A campaign to hold a referendum on the long-term public ownership of Irish Water was launched at a Green Party Conference held in Dublin this afternoon.
The Party are hoping to amend Article 10 of the Constitution which will ensure that Irish Water cannot be sold privately in the future.
Kilkenny Green Party Councillor, Malcolm Noonan, says this is an important issue which needs to be addressed and prioritised by the Government.
