Residents of a housing estate in Kilkenny are being left in the dark.
Only 3 bulbs are left working on street lights in the Lios Na Si estate in Johnstown which is particularly dark at night due to high walls surrounding it.
The lights themselves are on 24/7 and don’t switch off and most of them in the estate blew last summer for that reason.
The matter has been raised with the council by local councillors.
