Kilkenny hurler lends support to ‘Change for Charity’ campaign

A local sporting legend has lent his face to the Change for Charity campaign.

Henry Shefflin is endorsing the campaign which is fundraising for a number of Irish charities including Saint Vincent de Paul and the Irish Heart Foundation.

They’ll be in McDonagh Junction Shopping Centre from 12 to 2pm this Wednesday and they’re looking for people to donate any 1 cents and 2 cents they may have lying around.

Project Manager, Dearbhaile Meaney, told KCLR that they are delighted to have King Henry on board.
