Kilkenny hurling legend Eddie Keher to be honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award

A former Kilkenny hurler is to be honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Gaelic Players’ Association.

Inistioge’s Eddie Keher is getting this year’s top accolade from the association at their Former Players Event.

Eddie has six All-Ireland, 10 Leinster, and three League medals to his name after an inter-county career that spanned almost 20 years.

Kilkenny’s hurling teams of 1967 and 2007 are also getting special recognition on September 16th.

Speaking to KCLR News, Eddie says he’s delighted to be honoured like this.
