Kilkenny is gearing up to celebrate St Brigid’s Day in style!
This special day, traditionally observed on February 1st which is now a bank holiday gets underway this weekend.
Kilkenny will host the St Brigid’s Festival of Arts and Music, running from Friday through Sunday. The festival will feature performances from artists like Alchemy Vox and Poor Creature, with the music trail kicking off tomorrow night with Broken Chanter.
The Kilkenny Gospel Choir will also celebrate the occasion with a special performance in St. Fiacre’s Church, Loughboy.
