Kilkenny Kayaking club to be left homeless as Council moves to extend boundary fence around CAS bridge site

The Kayaking club in Kilkenny have become a casualty of the ongoing controversy over the Central Access Scheme bridge.

The jetty they have been using will fall into the area where the boundary fence at the site is being extended.

Roger McClure is Chairman of the club. He says they will have to find a new home and suspend all their activities there until next year.
