Kilkenny County Council will decide what the local property tax rate is today.
The local authority is meeting today to discuss their budgets for 2018 and Cathaoirleach David Fitzgerald says if there’s no increase, it will put the council under pressure to keep services at their current level.
He has advised councillors that they need to provide costed options rather than opposing increases or cuts to services.
