Kilkenny man says he’ll be wary of terrorism threat as he heads to Paris for Euro 2016

A Kilkenny man says he is wary that the threat of a terrorist attack will be looming when he heads to France for Euro 2016 this summer.
As hype grows ahead of the tournament, so too do the efforts of the French state to prevent any potential terrorist incidents for the duration of the tournament.
Willie Byrne, from Kilkenny city, is a season ticket holder for Ireland’s international matches.
He says he’ll have to be careful about spending too much time in public places, like those that were targeted November’s attacks in Paris.
