Kilkenny man taken to hospital after being struck by car in Carlow

A Kilkenny man was taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Carlow in the early hours of yesterday morning.

It happened just before 1am (Sunday, 25th January) on Tullow Street, close to Teach Dolmain.

The pedestrian who’s understood to be aged in his fifties was taken to St Luke’s General Hospital in Kilkenny.

Anybody who witnessed the incident or who might have footage of any form should make it available to Gardaí.
