Kilkennys minor hurlers retained their Leinster crown yesterday as well seeing off Dublin in the closing stages, 1-17 to 1-15 is how it finished.
They hit the last four scores of the game from man of the match Richie Leahy and Captain Daniel o Connor, with subs Conor Hennessy and Edmund Delaney hitting the winning points in the extra minute that was added on.
Kilkenny held a two-point lead at half-time, 1-7 to 0-8, with Tadhg O’Dwyer early goal effectively separating the two sides.
Dublin got off to a good start in the second half but Kilkenny closed out the game as Dublin ran out of steam.
