A Kilkenny city business owner is calling for increased Garda patrols and stronger action to tackle antisocial behaviour on Kieran Street.
Paula Grant says persistent begging, suspected drug activity, littering and the dangerous use of e-scooters are creating a poor impression of the city centre and making some people feel unsafe.
She’s urging Kilkenny County Council and An Garda Síochána to work together to improve the area, saying businesses are simply looking for a stronger Garda presence and a cleaner, safer environment for shoppers and visitors.
If you have seen any antisocial behaviour on the street or indeed in your area you can text direct to studio on 083-3069696 and tune in for more tomorrow morning on The KCLR Daily between 10 and 1pm.
