Kilkenny star Enya Cox Dempsey’s journey in the Junior Eurovision competition continues.
The 14-year-old from Castlecomer made it to the top ten of the televised contest.
Last night (Sunday, 22nd Sept) two were eliminated leaving eight hopefuls battling it out to represent Ireland in Madrid.
Enya’s rendition of Olivia Rodrigo’s Drivers License ‘as gaeilge’ proved popular (watch here via TG4) and kept her in the running with Safiya Devlin and Harry Greaney failing to advance.
Overall winner will be revealed on the 13th of October.
KCLR News’ Edwina Grace has been catching up with Enya and her Mother Róisín this morning;
