Kilkenny Sub Aqua holding ‘Try a Dive’ event tonight

If you’d like to try your hand at sub aqua diving, Kilkenny Sub Aqua Club are holding a recruitment event this evening.

‘Try a Dive’ is open to anyone who wants to see if it’s something they’d be interested in and is taking place from 8 o’clock at their base in the Hebron Industrial Estate.

They currently have around 40 active divers who train on a regular basis.

Speaking to KCLR News, Sub Aqua PRO Lorcan Scott says while search and rescue is a large part of what they do, it is optional for members.

And he says this evening’s event is open to anyone interested regardless of experience.
