A local teenager has spoken out about his experience with depression describing it as like “living a nightmare”.
Daniel Burke is Chairman of Kilkenny Young Fine Gael and completed his Leaving Cert just last month.
He took to his Facebook page yesterday to talk about his battle with mental health issues which he says often left him incapable of getting out of bed in the morning.
The post has already garnered over 300 ‘likes’.
Speaking to KCLR Live this morning Daniel says that it was only 3 weeks ago that he eventually saw his GP.
