Kilkenny to mark 300 days of conflict in Gaza by lining out children’s shoes commemorating the young lives lost

People are being urged not to lose faith in the power of protest to influence world events.

A silent march and vigil is being held in Dublin today to mark 300 days of conflict in Gaza, which has led to over 39,000 Palestinian deaths.

The Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign along with several other anti-war and student groups are calling on government to sanction Israel over its conduct in the war.

IPSC chair Zoe Lawlor says it’s important to keep the pressure on political leaders.

Their south east branch are hosting events across the region tomorrow including in Kilkenny from 1pm when it’s planned to lay out hundreds of childrens shoes at the Parade.
