Kilkenny is to play its part in tackling a Chef shortage across the country.
Figures show that only 1 thousand 800 chefs qualify every year in Ireland and The School of Food in Thomastown is running a course to train people up to a professional standard.
The programme has got funding from Failte Ireland and Leader and if you’re interested you can pay them a visit them until 3pm today to find out more.
