Kilkenny U21 hurling finals crowns Danesfort and Dunnamaggin Champions

In the JJ Kavanagh & sons northern under-21 Roinn b championship final, two late injury time points gave Danesfort a 1-12 to 1-10 victory over Graigue-Ballycallan at Freshford.
In the Southern Under-21 Roinn b championship final, Dunnamaggin eventually grinded out a one point victory over Galmoy/Windgap by 0-12 to 1-8 in John Lockes park after a close fought game.
In the southern under-21 Roinn a championship semi-final, the rower Inistioge needed extra time to see off a gallant Mooncoin side by 1-25 to 2-16.
It was Mooncoin 2-14 Rower-Inistioge 1-17 at full-time but the rower found an extra gear in the additional period.
In the northern under-21 Roinn a championship quarter-final, St Lachtains and Dicksboro served up a thriller and also needed extra time to decide a winner.
It was the Freshford side who prevailed by 4-18 to 1-24.
In the Kevin Fennelly Cup final yesterday Clara defeated Erins Own Bagenalstown 2-17 to 2-9.
